Are we on a movie set? No just walking the streets of Seoul.

So you know how you still feel like you are rocking back and forth on the water after you get off a boat you were on for a long time? I totally felt like that laying in bed the night after we rode elephants through the forests and hills of Northern Thailand.
Spending the day with these incredible animals was one of the best experiences of my life. I won’t soon forget our Mahout adventure - riding through the forests and hills, playing in the mud and bathing the elephants in the river.

This is literally the first post I am making that is solely text - weird. All of my wonderful followers, all 7 of you ( and I’m pretty sure 70% are spam), might be wondering why.
Before I jump into it can I just say how awesome my new layout is? Simple with a bit of style, not overly done but pleasing to mine eyes. Thank you Simon Fletcher for designing this for tumblr. I love how tumblr. has themes.
Anyway, I started this blog with the intent of sharing some of my favorite photographs that I have taken. Some are better quality than others. Some have more sentimental value to me. But they all share in the wonderful thing all photography has the potential to do which is evoke emotion from within the viewer (or at least I hope they do).
Photography has been in my life for a long time in one way or another. My dad was into it, and he developed his own film and has passed on tips about composition, lighting and timing (yadda yadda yadda). But, I’ve never been glued to my camera. It’s really just something I enjoy when I get the chance to take my camera along and capture moments in time.
I’ve been utter crap about posting in a timely manner though. I hope to be more frequent with my posts, but working and going to grad school full-time kind of makes free-time more of a laying on my couch and relaxing my eyes and brain time/ going to the gym time. I am a graphic designer studying human-computer interaction obsessed with surfing the internet. My life pretty much revolves around a computer, my poor eyes!
Be on the look-out for some photos I took while in South Korea and Thailand. And I may mix some more text posts in the future. Later Gators.
